BidGaps is a simple informational website. This page explains what information is and isn't collected when you use it.

The leveling sheet

The bid leveling sheet runs entirely in your browser. Bidder names, prices and notes you enter are saved only in your browser's local storage on your own device so your work isn't lost on refresh. They are not uploaded to us. You can clear them at any time with the Reset button or by clearing your browser's site data. CSV exports are created on your device.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to BidGaps Weekly, we collect your email address to send the newsletter. The newsletter is delivered through a third-party email service, which processes your address on our behalf. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link. We don't sell your email address. (Signup isn't live yet. Until it is, the signup form doesn't collect anything.)

Server logs and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process standard technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site. We don't currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we'll update this page.

Cookies

BidGaps does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security.

Sponsors and links

Some pages may include clearly labeled sponsor placements or links to other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
